Weekly Training...
The Ravens hold their weekly at Dundalk Ice Dome every Tuesday at 23:00, that's the on ice time, so be there by 22:30.
We have only one hour on the ice, so its important to be there there and kited out by 23:00 so we can maximize our time and get the most of a training session, we do have guess coaches from time to time taking us from power plays to power skating to penalty taking, defense plays and so forth.
Average cost is €11 for the session but this varies depending on how many players show up for the training - NOTE : Training is for Ravens players only!
If your not tired after 15 minutes, then you do not know how to skate nor play half as hard as you need to....
Mid Week Learn to Play...
So you want to play Hockey, but don't think you fit for it, or will be able for it! That is what I said also, but here I am...
The DkIT Ravens hold a special weekly Learn to Play Session in the Ice Dome on a Wed at 15:30, this is ONLY for DkIT Students and is at a special Rate of €5 for a 1 hour session, here you get to play with the ravens as we help you to learn to skate and to learn to play ice hockey.
If you have any of your own gear bring it along!
This is a great session to go to, if you just want to get a feel for the game and for skating on ice in general!
